    tbh, I'm glad you're paying anything. The bloke isn't even on our bench and getting paid to do nothing.
    Still he is a solid player, who I think will be alright at your level, so I wish him the best of luck.

    Why he couldn't have gone when they were silly enough to have 14mill in the briefcase is beyond me ... what a tool, good riddance, will probably be decent at Sunderland, seemed to perform during that loan

    Tbh thank your lucky stars you are even getting 8m up front. Considering hes been told hes a waste of space at pool and was basically stealing a living and just needs to be offloaded. You then have the likes of gomis ayew and even ings going for frees who were regular players scoring regular goals which borini hasnt been doing in the last two years. Even torres went for free

    Wish he'd have had more chance with us last season but BR didnt fancy him (he does fancy Lallana and Allen though - something to do with having a nice hair do + beard)

    Best for all concerned really. I wish he had had a decent run of games for us but two injuries blighted his first season.
    He's a reasonable buy for that fee. He'll never be a Kevin Phillips, but he could score 10 league goals a season given the chance

    By being a batard and not going when we tried to sell him before he's only put his own career back a year. He lost a year of playing time. Stupid sod probably thought Barcelona would come calling for him.
