About you selling Mata to us, saying its unfair, i seem to remember he sold RVP to us, i didn't see him complain back then.

2 different things.. but what else do you except from Le Arse?

always comes up with some scientific responses.

Wenger can be a real tosser at times."Some teams have already played twice against one opponent and some others not," Wenger. Very good Wenger, you're a genius
"I can understand completely what Chelsea are doing. They could have sold him last week." What is his point here?? Mata didn't play during this time and United were busy losing. I don't get what his point is at all!!

Chelsea have been smart enough to hang on to Mata for an extra week but ultimately unless you do away with the transfer window, there is no realistic way of stopping this happening. The loan system is also flawed (i.e Lukaku can play against our rivals but not us) but that's the way it is an no obvious solution.

To an extent I agree with him over the fairness point but I don't see any solutions being presented by him.

As for the selling to a rival...short memory as always. Least we sold a squad player and not our talisman!!

Is he seriously thinking that all the Prems top teams are conspiring to prevent L'Arse from winning the title? <doh>

Chelsea news conference

"Arsene Wenger complaining is normal, he always does. But when a player plays for a club on 20 August and then on 5 September plays for a different club this is normal. This is the market.

"If Arsene Wenger sold Mesut Ozil to Manchester United I would be happy because they are losing a very important player, like we are with Juan, but this is his nature.

"What is not fair is that his team always gets the best days to play. Always. This weekend you want to play early to recover. Who plays Friday? Who plays Sunday?"

<laugh>.

I thought Maureen's meltdown response was funnier. It's not fair, it's not fair, IT'S NOT FAIR. Clearly rattled by Wenger.

You also have to remember that Wenger didn't actually single Chelsea out for criticism, he said that to ensure 'fairness for all teams' you should probably do away with the Jan window. What rattled Maureen was that he said that Chelsea could have sold Mata a week earlier, which exposed Maureen's thinking behind it. I don't blame Chelsea, I'd do the same, but the balancing the books argument was a bit thin.

Also you have to remember that Wenger has irked Maureen before, remember his 120 page dossier he kept on Wenger <laugh> Now if that isn't obsessed I don't know what is. The bloke clearly has a chip on his shoulder about Wenger.

It reminds a bit of some of the behaviour you see on here sometimes, one person makes a general point about a club and it gets jumped on with personal attacks about the poster. Maureen's been WUMMED and he took the bait, hook, line and sinker.

Have to say ok not sure I agree with the statement that Wenger gets under Jose's skin. For a man who has never beaten him it would appear to be a misnomer. Maybe he sends him cheeky snapchats...

I'm sure he's got far more important things to think about than a manager who's never beaten him.

I wonder why he felt the need to bleat on about him yesterday then ? He must have said 'It's not fair' half a dozen times. If he wasn't rattled he'd have said nothing. This must be page 121 of the dossier <laugh>

I thought it was pretty clear that Mourinho was mocking Wenger by moaning.

But we wouldn't actually be having this discussion if Wenger didn't moan in the first place....

He didn't though. What he actually said was that 'in fairness to all the teams' it would be better to scrap the Jan window. He was talking about the transfer window rules, but Maureen got all defensive and threw a strop about Wenger and then went off on a rant about how 'it's not fair' that Arsenal get all the best fixture lists <wah>
