Over on the Gooners' board, I notice that they have a thread running, seeking fans' views on which manager they'd like to see replace Whinger, should he walk in the Summer. All the usual names are being bandied about, of course, with Klopp featuring heavily in their collective fantasy. It's going to be very hard for them when reality kicks in and they end up with Chris Hughton, or Tony Pulis, or even Fat Sam. The real big guns, like Klopp, will have set their horizons far higher than The Library.
I can see what you're saying, PNP, and ordinarily I'd agree with you. But going to AFC would be a small step up the ladder for Chris, and I don't think any of us would begrudge him that.
None. But that's what I'm trying to say. I don't think you'll get a manager who will win you trophies. You might just as well stick with Whinger.
Plus, Fat Sam's "hoof ball" style of play would add a dimension that is currently missing from Arsenal's game.
That Everton manager seems to be doing a good job since taking over from Moyes.Ironic if he takes over from Moyes yet again!!!!
