How is that not an answer? I've said that anyone will do, as long as they fix the problems. Learn to read.
I can literally say anyone who can do x as an answer to anything bu then that'd just make my opinion mute and stupid. Specifics names and realistic available people, none of this anyone bullcrap.
That's not my point though. My answer is trying to say i will take anyone, no specifics, just as long as they promise to sort out squad deficiencies.
Anyone? So let's get some random bloke on the streets to manage Arsenal "Anyone" is one of the most useless arguments out there. You just don't know WHO could actually replace him so you're just sticking with anyone.
OK, fine. Loew (germany) Klopp (BVB) Rangnick (semi-retired) Ancelotti (PSG) Heynckes (Break) De Boer (Ajax) Bergkamp (ajax) Van Basten (Unattached) Hiddink (Anzhi) Mazzari (Inter) Spalletti (Zenit) Conte (Juve) Slutsky (CSKA - he has an awesome name) Pellegrini (when Citeh sack him for finishing 2nd) Mancini (Unattached) Villas-Boas (them) Martinez (everton) Laudrup (Swansea) Hyypia (Leverkusen) Cocu (PSV) Koeman (Feyenoord) Allegri (AC) Montella (Fiorentina) Guidolin (Udinese)
And most of those names are a) Not leaving their current clubs b) Not good enough or better than Wenger c) Not experienced enough d) Not available
We're Arsenal, we're bigger than the vast majority of the clubs managed by these people. if we seriously want them, they will consider us. We still have some prestige left, Wenger hasn't totally eroded it yet. Give him another 2 years and he will.
Yes and while your anti-Wenger crusade can continue, the rest of us will look forward to next season and some signings rather than to lesser managers.
Considering the numerous reports that we've activated Fellaini's buyout clause, reports of a deal being struck over Higuain, he rumors over Jovetic, Csar, etc... No I' being realistic.
1. The Fellaini rumours were BS, it's been confirmed 2. Higuain rumours originated from the mirror, which is about as reliable as Wenger trying to teach defending 3. Jovetic is going to Juve 4. Cesar is ****
I've not ignored logic - I asked based on your criteria, as quoted. Instead you've given your usual immature mood-swing response.
Wenger improved towards the end of the season - as he needed to, the pressure was really on. He achieved, and I emphasise this, the MINIMUM required of Arsenal Football Club. Achieving the minimum while going out to Bradford, Blackburn, and having a terrible record against the other Top6 teams is not at all deserving of a new contract. He deserves another season, but should only be given fresh terms if he improves the squad, the performances, and crucially, the end result next season. The board shouldn't even entertain the idea of a new contract right now.
None of them have, as you point out. However, it was the only criteria you gave for hiring 'anyone' to replace Wenger. My question was redundant, but it was only posed in response to your redundant point.
