Or just run a Saturday 3pm game, like EVERY other country seems to do for the EPL except for English TV, or even two, or even all (Since ALL Premier League games are filmed) That would more than make up for the revenue made by switching the schedule to put a specific game on.
anyway the 'fixture computer' has a hard job with clubs as big as Arsenal - 'cos we have all these Champions League and FA CUP matches to fit in, unlike most of the rest.
No **** Wenger, this isn't big news. It really is quite sad to be honest. I pine for my early days as a football fan, even though this soul selling was in full swing by then, or maybe it's because under Keegan we were actually really good
You misunderstood what I said.. EVERY Premier League game is Filmed, and thus shown for TV somewhere in Europe. This includes Saturday 3pm kickoffs (which aren't shown on English TV). For example when I was in Sweden on holiday, they put every game on in a row. So they played the early kick off on saturday, then the 3pm one, then the late kick off, ALL consecutively. If they did that in England, then they would gain more revenue than by changing games to a monday or tuesday, since they would end up showing 5-6 games a weekend (out of the 10 Premier League ones) instead of the 3-4 a week, from Saturday-Tuesday. Not only that then, but they could show the alternate overlapping games via the red button (much like they do with the champions league).
