I notice you haven't answered my question yet <whistle>

"All of you moaned at wenger and all bar one user pretty much"

No I didn't celebrate their purchase of the club, neither did I celebrate the purchase of the club by our new owners. Just the fact that the parasites had left. Fail to see how Liverpool has any point whatsoever to the matter at hand. I could just as well be a blackburn fan and my point that the majority of your fans are two faced RE. Wenger would still be valid.

From browsing forums and reading the hoards of comments on websites like the Guardian. Hence their point - the idea is they give a fair and accurate representation as to the current sentiments of football fans through the expression of opinion. Correct me if I'm wrong. If you don't believe their worth then it's slightly ironic that you yourself should use a forum...

What do Liverpool fans think about not being champions for 21 years ?
When you go to Anfield what is it like looking at a derelict building site on Stanley Park ?

Do you not think that the whole point of this thread and the subsequent comments are laughing at and taking the piss out of the minority of idiots who were slating Wenger?

ahahaha. That's right change subject again back to Liverpool. If you want to know the answer why not post it on the Liverpool board - as I have done with my post regarding Wenger?

    http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/91292-Get-that-****-of-a-manager-out-of-our-football-club

This is just one of the classics. I see the OP of the above thread has joined in with the laughter on this. The irony being that like many gooners he now pretends he never wanted Wenger out. Prompting my comment in the first place.

Was that one : Cym, me, or someone else? Because I think you've got that assertion arse about face mate.
There were only one or two making the knee jerk nonsene threads about sacking wenger - most people on here were telling them that they were talking **** then too <ok>

Rather than making up a load of bollocks, why not check my post history and show me 1 post even questioning Wenger. I have been given **** by some posters for being blind and in the 'In Arsene we trust' gang. Anyone who didn't blatantly see that this was a piss take is an absolute idiot. I am not accusing you of being an idiot, just a WUM.

umm, kinda akward - maybe you should actually read what I wrote? The op of the ABOVE thread referred to the thread link I posted, it's not rocket science. But still, I will admit that I have stumbled into a core group who supported Wenger from the start. I still dont buy that it was only a minority who wanted him gone though but then again the loudest always have a way of making themselves heard.

    Ooops. Sorry about that.

You are correct in the statement about the loudest though.

I was accused of the 'blind faith' rubbish too.
I would say it was more ludicrous to have a 'blind faith' that sacking wenger would have improved our situation.

You're right Red, it was a loud minority spouting off nonsene about sacking wenger. One or two of them were outed as being wums in disguise, just here to stir up ****.

But there were one or two here, who claim to have been supporting Arsenal for long enough to know better really.

They've mellowed a bit to save face, and are now saying 'I will criticise when he gets it wrong' and who claim that we can't win games because we're not on form (????) but still predict a win anyway. I'd call that hedging your bets, so that you can try and claim you're right whatever the outcome,

but double standards are just that in my book <ok>

  17. I find it absolutely hilarious that there would be so much back slapping going on here.

From the very same people who have been so spectactularly wrong for so long.

What has actually happened is that Wenger has changed - and moved away from the very same philosophy that the blind men here had faith in. He has accepted he was wrong, and you have to give him some credit for that.

Lets remember though that we currently sit outside the CL places, are 12 points behind the leaders, out of one trophy, and have had a pretty good run of opponents.

There is certainly no turnaround yet, but I would say that due to Wengers 180 ( I guess Piskie would call that double standards) we do have a chance of continuing this run and achieving something.

It's just a shame he took so long to realise how wrong he was.

In terms of sacking - he most certainly should be sacked or moved upstairs if he fails again this year (for the 7th year in a row)

I'd also like to know what exactly he has changed since the early part of the season when we were struggling.

  20. I am not going to get in a tit for tat argument with you on it. If you don't recognise the changes that have been made, from players, to contracts, to preparation, and defensive philosophy then there is not much help I can give you.
