Here we go again. I posted in order to get my point across. The same intention all of the other posters had before posting.

Your point being what exactly....if 'There wasn't much point repeating the same thing half of your fans have already stated above.'?

It's a shame you cannot discuss Footballing matters sensibly.

    Kamran

Almunia has to go as soon as possible as that will be best for everyone.

Denilson is our version of Carrick in both temperament and playing style. It is his job to retain possession so we can build our attacks without constantly losing the ball. That doesn't sound glamorous because it isn't, however it is very important. I think he is actually a good player, because he has quite good positioning and very good short passing, however he often seems to be **** because of various reasons. For one he has been played in a deep midfield position which involves strong tackling, something he is not good enough at. Also he seems to be a pretty sensitive player who is prone to lacks of confidence which is obviously a drawback at a top club. I don't blame people for wanting him to leave, but I don't agree when people just say he isn't good enough.

As for Rosicky, I agree with you on him. His injury problems of 2008 have left us with a player who is a shadow of his former self. I wish him well and all but he is just not pulling his weight.

If we are to sign a new striker (which I think we should) then one of Bendtner or Chamakh will probably go. I don't really have a preference for either but your figure for Bendtner might be a bit optimistic.

As for your buys I don't think we need Mexes because Vermaelen and Djourou as 1st choice with Koscielny and Squillaci as backups are good enough in my opinion. However I do agree with you about the midfielders, we need a physical presence as cover for Song. Another suggestion for that position would be Jan Vertonghen of Ajax because he can play in midfield I think. As for up front I think we could get one of Milito, Huntelaar, Aguero (if we spend really big) or perhaps Llorente who would all be good buys in my opinion.
