"Attracts the prestige of playing in the competition"? Do you not realise that sentences like that mean absolutely nothing??

Financial reward? Good for our board. Encourages players to join us? Which outfield players were encouraged to join us? Which players did Leicester and Spurs need the CL to encourage to join them to finish above us?

Let's be clear. We are NOT challenging for major trophies. That's the issue here. Finishing top 4 is not a trophy or an achievement even though you keep insisting it is like Wenger does. If we have a new manager who took the time to do what he thinks needed doing, instilling new tactics, new training methods, getting rid of deadwood, bringing in better suited players... Then yes, being out the CL doesn't bother me BECAUSE IT'S ONLY THE MEAN TO AN END, NOT AN ACTUAL END. I want our club to use it resources more wisely than it is now. We should be buying players of top quality. We should be buying young players and making them better. We should be playing a a variety of tactics to suit each game.

If it took a manager a year or three to instill this then so what. If we could see work was being done and that there was an end goal then I'd be happy.

You think we're going to be able to buy those 'top quality players' if we're not in the Champions League ?

Ultimately I want to win the league or at least challenge for it. You don't need to be in the CL to be able to attract title winning players. Being out of the CL for a year or three doesn't bother me if it was a greater cause.

Barring this season where Leicester have completely bucked the trend. I think you do need to be in the CL to attract top quality title winning players.

Would you be happy getting to (and possibly winning) an EL final like Liverpool have?

About as much as the FA Cup. It's a stop gap trophy that I'd be delighted to win but ultimately not one of the big ones.

It will be interesting to see if Chelsea will be able to recruit title winning players this summer

They don't really need much, they just need a manager to kick their asses into shape. They have a squad good enough to win the title.

They don't need many. They already have loads. It's just they CBA for most of this season. If Conte can motivate them they'll be up there.

EDIT... Lazarus beat me to it!

Wenger—"With Leicester coming in it meant one less place available in the top four. It was not easy to get into it this season". Dear me.

Can't believe he actually said that!

Conveniently forgetting the collapse of Chelsea, Man United and poor form of City....this has been the easiest top 4 we've ever had.

Getting increasingly difficult to deny that this guy is taking the fans for mugs.

    He needs to go!

Last day to vote, so far it's 17 to 9 votes for Wenger to go.

Despite a late surge in voting, it looks like 61% want Wenger to leave. Which is a majority.

I would wager that a majority of voters aren't Arsenal fans, so where does that leave this poll? :bandit:

What are you psychic or something? Good to see that you voted to make it 41% for Wenger to stay. Last day left so carry on canvassing and hopefully you can overturn the result <ok>

The results obviously prove nothing about the opinions of all Arsenal fans. Just like the protest against Norwich proved nothing about the opinions of all Arsenal fans. But good to see you making pointless wagers which can never be proven because you don't like the (meaningless) result from 29 people. All we need now is PISKIE to like your comment as well as reply to it with a 'SPOT ON' comment and thumb up smiley because he presumably deems his opinion to important to be left to a simple 'like'.

So much for it being a anonymous - only if it suits your agenda eh?

As you have changed your mind about it being anonymous, why not share the names of the other voters so we can all know how many non Arsenal fans voted, regardless of their choice?

That you think the numbers involved in the Norwich protest carry equal weight as those in this ridiculous 'poll' just about sums you up. Don't let the fact that one example generated less than 30 'anonymous' votes of which not all will be from Arsenal fans, whilst the other was from tens of thousands of people who bought tickets to watch Arsenal play (not all of who would have been AFC fans, granted).

You really are pedantic to the point of stupidity, but don't let me stop you making a total arse of yourself every time you post.

Your forum activity seems to have dropped off a bit since your boy was given a break. Maybe Lazarus will let you manage his posting style until A87 returns. Wouldn't want you getting bored :)

Hahaha you're a paranoid one aren't you? This is an anonymous poll so I don't know who voted, you're the one suggesting non Arsenal fans were voting.

As for my agenda, I am merely interested in how many people wanted Wenger to stay ot go as there has been so much discussion on it.
