Show me a case of a manager harassing match officials from half-time until the final whistle, then making derogatory comments post-match and not being banned after making similar comments after the previous game.
The ridiculous decision to go after Mancini and Redknapp, yet leave Ferguson alone when his behaviour was clearly worse than theirs, makes the FA look incompetent and biased.

Not only that but it sets a precedent. If tomorrow and Sunday every PL manager decides to emulate Ferguson's behaviour, the FA couldn't do anything whilst keeping their credibility in tact. The FA could punish them but the managers could take their appeals to a higher court and site the Ferguson incident in their defence and you know what? There would be jack the FA could do.

By making Fergie untouchable they've risked making every manager untouchable hence undermining their own "Respect" campaign.

heyyy guys. There is so much hypocrisy on this thread. Wenger is as bad if not worse than Fergie, Pardew is no saint. Most managers are at it. Dalglish was the worst of the lot. Liverpool fans are in no position to judge after the way they handled the Suarez debacle last year and the fans behaviour in it.

Seems that Fergie and Manu get it worst because they are the biggest/best. Jealously, basically.

Hughton seems like a complete gent, havent seen him do anything untoward yet. Although spose that might change. Cute as well ;)

Bull crap...most of this FA conspiracy theory bull**** stems from jealousy and everyone knows it.

Yes he his a bully but no less a bully than most.

Where there is bias however, its in the media. He and other British managers do things that the likes of Wenger would have been murdered for had the latter did the same.

Imagine if Wenger pushed an official to the floor like that chav Pardew....he would have been castigated no end...in the press, on the likes if the BBC radio and talk ****e radio etc.

British managers are treated with added veneration in the media and Ferguson benefits most.

Managers are allowed to talk to the officials, its what they say and how they say it that gets them in trouble, the officials obviously didn't think what Fergie said was bad enough to be included in their report, just like they didn't put in their report the two incidents when Pardew was shouting and protesting with them.

Some of the comments from Manc's on here are laughable. EVERYONE knows that Man U and Fergie get more going their way than against them but they are so blinkered that they just dont seem to be able to accept it. If you watch Arsenal and Man U matches side by side you can clearly see that some refs give decisions Man U's way we do not get, both fouls for and against.

To give an example, Arsenal got a couple of questionable penalty decisions against WBA to win the game (taken in context of a lot of decisions against us over the years they were correct though) and other fans were all over it. Not many say anything when they go against us though, but there are usually one or two who are honest enough to say we were hard done by. The same goes for a lot of other teams as well, I can remember Liverpool, Tottenham and others not getting decisions against Man U.

The same goes for our managers as well, Fergie gets away with far more than anyone else. Except Redknapp of course, he gets away with giving money to his dog instead of the tax man. <whistle>

That applies to every team. Every team has been undone by Man U's cheating and blatant disregard for the rules that has been facilitated by biased referees
