With the Big Al thread curse, maybe this isn’t the three point banker it looks on paper 
We should be beating Wednesday, home or away. I’ll go for a convincing 3-1 Town win with them getting a dodgy penalty.
Feels like a good time for a predictions league update. Gaffer is building a Coventry-esque lead at the top of the table. Stretchy still second, but yours truly has made a surge with a correct Leicester 1-1 draw to break into third.
Mike has also charged up the table to pip SD at fourth. SD and Evesham separated only by a better guess percentage. Big Al, inaugural Predictions League winner, is sat in mid table, just ahead of a pessimistic Spanish.
Alex and Fat Boy Slim’s more frequent predictions has seen them put some daylight from the bottom few, with a chance to break into the top half.
Ristac’s perfect score prediction a couple weeks back sees him third from bottom - despite only two predictions! Tony a point below below, but again with only two predictions (and the only 100% record). Yorkie, I know you’ve given up on the league this year, but you get no prizes for the wooden spoon!

On paper this is a win, but which team will turn up. I think they are yet to win at home, and I remember the old days when we’d just be the team to lose. Possible banana skin yes, but I’ll go 2-0 win. Thanks Nuggets for the league update, I need a few correct ones!
Thanks again Nuggets for yr predictions league efforts. I am no statitician but how I beat Tony with 50% correct guesses to his 100% lawd only knows! But I will take this lead as a welcome Birthday present. 77 yrs young today!

Since Bigal2 is single handedly dragging us out of the top 2 I will go with a 2-1 win for the Owls
The inconsistencies in post-match reviews are infuriating.So violent conduct can be punished retrospectively but an undeserved penalty can't!I understand you couldn't award a penalty after the event (as in the Leicester match)but it isn't unreasonable to wipe out Stoke's third goal given the Refs' body admitted it was given mistakenly.

We really should be going into this game as favourites, even with line up concerns, if we have serious designs on automatic promotion. We won't make it easy on ourselves but we'll win 3-0
