I missed the last cup final and now I will miss this one. It is my son's fifth birthday tomorrow and well before the semi win, we promised to take him to a restaurant tonight, and I can't break my promise to him. I can see the first half but must leave just after six. I am a bit late in life to have a small son but better late than never. I often get mistaken for his grandfather. So although disappointed to not be at Wembley today, I may be the only Watford fan to have something "better" to do today.
Constant pressure from City and our defence is into last ditch defending. It has cracked again 2-0.
Need to change something for the second half. Can we hit them on the break twice without them scoring again? Not sure we can.
We need to throw caution to the winds and go for them, and at least get a goal. You cannot let City come at you in this way.
Well I have to go now and take my boy out for his birthday meal. Will keep a look out on the phone and record it just in case.
