Well that's what compounded his anger. He had the membership, the system just booted him out at checkout twice. He then tried to re-enter a third time and was told he wasn't eligible to purchase any more tickets because he had already done so. He had never purchased any!

Some real horror stories, you'd assume there'll be a bit of a review internally as that system was not up to it at all.

I'm definitely going to submit a complaint as it was just so bad on so many levels. I get that it was a huge amount of tickets to shift in a short space of time but that doesn't excuse basic failures such as the above or allocating a child a single seat on their own.

Judging by how quickly it sold today I reckon they made a killing on the membership queue jump option. Reckon several thousand did this easily.

That said I (eventually) did get sorted out by ticket office by someone who really made the effort so credit to them. I'll mention that in complaint too.

Think the window gap was too big for the amount of people too really. Loads in half 12 window would have still been queuing by time 2pm window opened.

Who do you all thin
At a £2.40 postage cost, I'm expecting a special delivery, maybe Jack Stephens will be shoehorned in to help deliver them.

Let's hope Russel Martin doesn't get a say. My tickets will get passed about the back office, almost dropped a few times, before launching themselves into my postbox eventually.

So as the dust settles on a crazy few days, where have we all ended up. I am not exactly sure where I am even from the confirmation email, block 535, category 4, not far from the top. Just glad to get a ticket anywhere in the end tbh.

The website was so buggy for me I panicked and pressed the “sit anywhere” button. We now have 4 mates sat together and another 3 all on their own. <laugh>

Doesn’t really matter though… just glad to be there

Likewise, my son spent 4hours getting our tickets for himself two grandsons and me. We’re’up in the gods’ apparently!! Don’t care where I might not get the chance to see our team at Wembley again, who knows?! But the system did not appear to be up to the task. Simply very poor.

That`s what happened to me! I was in the queue for more than 2 hours, then thought I`d cracked it when I was allowed to add to my basket. Then when I went to check out, all sold out!

There are Leeds fans online claiming they have bought tickets from our allocation

If true…

a. That will end well in the stand, especially with Leeds fans having such a stellar and well founded reputation for subtlety.

b. Real cherry on top for the booking system and criteria if so. Guaranteed they somehow managed to get in with the last minute memberships the club was pushing.

It wouldn’t surprise me because there were a couple of messages online saying a few were sniffing around ways to get in and we know how chaotic and buggy it all got.

What’s the best park and ride?

I normally park at Richmond for west London games and then jump on district line there but bit awkward to to get to Wembley from there. Can still be done in less than hour though and dead easy up get home afterwards (assuming you're using the M,3)

Could try harrow or somewhere around there but it'll be mainly Leeds fans I'd imagine
