I have to say that my view of the pitch from my nice and comfortable Club Wembley seat was spectacular. Either side of me was this enormous sea of blue and white, the facilities on the concourse were excellent, what was there not too like?

I know this is like comparing chalk and cheese, but it didn't have the intimacy of Loftus Road where, even from the back row of the Upper Loft, you feel like you are part of the action. The proximity of the stands to the pitch and the totally enclosed feeling do make Loftus Road a fantastic ground (especially for anyone under 5' 10" with a strong bladder). The designers of our new stadium have got a hell of a job to try to double the capacity but not lose that intimacy.
 
Its a great stadium. Only complaint is that the ceiling is too low! We were at the back row of 105, so right at the top of the bottom tier. When BZ scored I nearly knocked myself out jumping up and hitting the concrete.

It was just amazing to see 40,000 QPR fans together celebrating with all the flags waving.

Unfortunately it is going to be difficult to port the Loftus Road atmosphere to the new stadium, but as you say keeping the stands close to the pitch will be a good start.
 
We were up at the top and the fine rain was actually blowing through gaps at the top of the windows behind us at kick-off time. Can't fault the sight lines though, really excellent view...
 
We can get the views and comfort but to do that, the upper tier has to overhang the lower tier which doesn't seem to happen a lot in new stadiums.

We have to get that cramped feeling in the new ground, the away players say the pitch is so small but its the standard size which proves we get in their head and they think they have less time.

That's an interesting point that I've never thought about in those terms. It goes to show with a tight stadium, we get more bank for our buck re. The 12th man argument. All the more reason to be loud and proud when it comes to our support, especially when the chips are down. Let's face it though, as we saw on Saturday, not a problem for us.
 
The whole stadium experience was really positive, the view fastastic, the noise stayed in the stadium....the only minor grip I had was that the PA system needed to be turned down a few decibles, when they were making announcements I had to almost shout to Scoby & Corker who were sitting beside me.....
 
I've been to many of the top stadiums around the world and truly think the new Wembley is there, or there abouts to the top of the tree, with regards to view, atmosphere and facilities.
It's credit to our country to have. Such a magnificent stadium as that.
 
We need to get the design right, but how many of Saturday's 40,000 will regularly turn up at the new place to create the atmosphere? Let's be honest the atmosphere at LR hasn't been great for much of this season, until that outstanding game against Wigan. I think its the people as much as the design which creates the atmosphere. And the fans fire off the team.

Wembley looked great, especially the Rs end. But whats with the seats in the middle - they were virtually empty for the first 10 minutes of the second half, looked awful.

That always happens with the corporates, most of them probably thought Derby were a horse race!...
 
Generally a good experience. There is no seat that does not offer a reasonable view of the pitch. My hot chocolate was lukewarm but I can live with that!
 
Horrible stadium. Millenium stadium in cardiff is so much better and without all that Club wembley prawn sandwich cr+p
 
A couple of my pals were in the £52 seats directly behind the goal but very low down. They said the view was very poor in general, but great for the goal!

I paid the same price for the top tier on the halfway line, the view is so much better, the lower tier has a much too shallow banking.
