Hotel in Ruislip direct tube to Wembley Park, Boxpark thing. Stay Saturday in hotel London sight seeing with GF.

Original plan if Boro won was to get the train to Waterloo, when it was Sinners decided no way was I trying to get there on the same trains.

As it happens everything is looking like a stunning weekend.

There is no other place like Wembley Way really.
Don’t fancy the pubs anymore and having seen a drinks menu the beer isn’t to expensive in Boxpark.
Will go to seats early soak up the atmosphere.

The Fer Arl pub takeover looks like a great bit of supporter cooperation HCOSC and HCSS running events over the Friday and Saturday is quite something.

Wish I had known before making plans to meet mates.

I have to also add that I am taking my girlfriend to the game.
She isn’t a football fan and before we met had never been to a game. My wife of 43 years never would go to a game with me, it is so different having a partner who although she knows nothing about the game, has been to a few city games home and away.
She is Southampton born and bred, but has sat and cheered us beating them. She didn’t hesitate when I asked if she wanted to go to Wembley.
Wembley is a big deal for her, but I have to tread careful, she isn’t used to a football crowd and to be honest I doubt if somewhere like the Crystal lounge where I have headed to, just would not have suited her.
So if you hear a southern female version of “Come on you Hull” it might just be her!
Can’t wait to be honest!

Mrs Two is with me at Wembley on Saturday, her first match since Garreth Roberts' testimonial against Spurs. A repeat score line is not needed. :emoticon-0138-think

I'll listen for the pronunciation of 'Hull', as opposed to 'ull'!

I took mine at the time to Sunderland for her first Tigers game , we were only a few yards from their fans . She couldn’t believe how aggressive ‘some fans’ can get during the game . Those Mackems were terrible honest .
She’s been to the MKM odd times and likes it when we score and the place rocks for a little while .

Took Mrs Tash to Spurs away and I turned round to see her mouthing to one of their fans that he was a ****ing ****er…complete with the relevant hand signals.

She’s a keeper (EDIT…not like Pandur…you know what I mean)

My other half is from a family of happy hammers, died in the wool, so bit of a surprise the first football match she ever went to was when I dragged her to Southend away to see City, packed away end for a midweek match, think it was an Ashbee blockbuster that night, long time ago now, but she's been by my side since cheering the Tigers on, despite her still have allegiance to the Spammers (due to her family), she's still never been to one of their games lol, now theres devotion for ya.

I've reluctantly had to leave honey-pie at home, who else is gonna have my mega-breakfast on the table when I walk in the door at 9am on a Sunday Morning after a long slog away from home?:emoticon-0103-cool:

Which Sunday morning though? :emoticon-0138-think

It's our time.
I'm keeping good company this weekend Tony, the creme de la creme so to speak...

It'll be a couple of half and half shandies pre-match then over to your penthouse for nibbles, dips,Pimms and an educated conversation with big Vern...What could possibly go wrong? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Safe journey down for you and the good lady and all the others on the move Today.

Up Our Tigers!!!

Read earlier in the week to expect a big announcement from Acun about a Fans Park or something he was laying on just for City fans at Wembley. Have I missed it? Is it just this Box Park with a £12 admission fee, is that it? Genuine question.

Other than the already organised areas I doubt there'd be anywhere nearby were he could get an additional fans area tbh.

The fee btw is to guarantee entry before 12.30, thereafter its free entry but reliant on having available space.
