Going on tiger travel so realistically what time will I be stepping off the coach. 12.30-2.00?

Might not get much time for pre match refreshments. Was thinking boxpark but not paying if I don't get my money's worth.

Tiger travel tickets arrived today though so it's getting real.
Probably 1pm Tiger Travel to arrive.

I'm doing Box Park - as are some people at work.

Some others at work are going to The Torch pub.

drive down Friday night and stay over at Premier Inn next to M1, 30 miles from London - £70 inc breakfast for 2 of us
drive in about 10
park car next to Wembley in Red Parking - getting there early guarantees you space ground / first floor of multi story for quick getaway later -£50
bought tickets for Box Park - 12 mins walk from stadium - £25
if we lose / we wont - car park 100 yards away and get out PDQ - should be on M1 within 15 mins
if we win / we will - stay in Stadium then Box Park - then leave whenever - unfortunately no alcohol as driving back later

Radio Humberside are asking any fans around Wembley Way (Olympic Way) on Friday evening to stop by as they build up to the big game.

Just the other week saw what the Wembley complex could have looked like if the FA or the government/council could have stretched an extra £50m to buy the surrounding land. It would have probably been the best in the world.

Instead it’s just a big stadium surrounded by flat blocks.

Just found a photo

I was thinking exactly the same.
I really dont want to get food in the stadium
I was there a few months back for England v Australia and I was very surprised at both the cost and quality. Burgers were bang on and reasonable price too. I was drinking Camden stout at £7 a pint which for Wembley is very good. Had about 8 or 9 but obviously easier you can drink in your seats so got through more.

Someone did suggest they reduced the prices because its rugby league and they know they wont sell as much at normal prices but im still yet to have that confirmed or even understand if Wembley would even do that. If they did its a bit crap on football fans.

If they didnt you should be able to get a decent burger in the ground for a fair price. Gamble is yours!!

we're planning on going to The Torch, as per previous Wembley visits (I'm assuming that's been designated as a City pub, but agree I've not seen anything confirming this.
Went in the Crystal Lounge on the Best Trip, also enjoyed the Torch beer garden on the others, do we get all of the Torch, Boxpark and Acun fanpark on Saturday then?

That's good to know. I think I just assumed it would be crap food at extortionate prices

I have found pictures of said pint and half of a burger for context. Im not sure if these will help you in any way, shape or form but they were both delicious.

Next to the Boxpark there's a retail park with lots of places to eat. If anyone is thinking about eating in the ground your options are:
Food and drink
There are a range of food and drink facilities available, including several new facilities on the level 2 concourse. This includes TapHouse Social, Camden Town Brewery Bars and two new M&S Food stores, as part of the national stadium’s drive to offer healthier food choice to fans.
And please let us know before you buy whether you have any dietary requirements – we’ll do our best to meet them.
Please note - the stadium is now entirely cashless! We no longer accept cash but rest assured that card and contactless payments will be accepted throughout the stadium.

Head to general admission levels 1 and 5 and you’ll find:
Draught Bars
Choose from a range of beers, hot and cold drinks, handcrafted pies, and confectionery.
Bottle Bars

Express bars serving bottled beers, soft drinks and confectionery.
Hot Dogs
Authentic Bavarian hog-skin hot dogs, served with cooked onions, mustard seeds and fresh chives.
Wicks Manor Sausages
Enjoy 'Britain's Best Sausage 2013' from the family-run Wicks Manor farm.
Chicken & Chips
Southern coated chicken and chips served with dips.
Burger & Chips
British beef burgers, served with crinkled cut chips and garnishes.

We've got Boxpark, and I think we've got The Torch.... don't know anything about Acun Fanpark, and haven't heard anyone mention Crystal Lounge this time.

I've read that The Green Man & The William Jameson are also recmmended Wembley Pubs, but It'll be The Torch for us lot.

I was hoping for something along the lines of Viking Fisheries with the small fish and chips special.

if we win i cant really drink, so will take my celebrations out on the all you can eat breakfast next morning...
I'll be having an all you can eat breakfast at Toby Carvery, Willerby early on Friday morning before we head to that there London.
We're not going there on Saturday, but I'm surprised no one has mention JJ Moons, Wetherspoons, in Kingsbury. It's only two tube stops from Wembley Park, and we've been there before. :emoticon-0138-think
