[I tried to upload a recording from Look North were my brother was on talking and one of my sons was in the background, but it is not having it..

Henderson earned his shot at a bigger stage and credit to Liverpool for bringing him on after a turbulent first season on Merseyside.
He got his share of stick for disappointing team performances and although some fans never rated him I'm sure all would love to see him back in our side and wish nothing but the best for him.
Great credit to him for joining in the occasion and watching the match with his fellow fans.

I was one of his biggest critics and thought it was a bloody good piece of business getting so much for him. I am however delighted to have been proven wrong. Liverpool have brought him on and he is now probably one of the key players in the team.
Well done Hendo for yesterday sitting with the fans.

PS, ya tight tw*t only paying £72 for a ticket:biggrin:

Seems like you guys still have respect for him despite his move to us few years ago. Nice to see him in and amongst the fans rather than up in the corporate box, refreshing to see from a footballer.

Unlucky today, apart from 2 moments of world class finishing, more than matched City. Good luck in staying up, hopefully Borini can score a few more and help you stay in the Prem <ok>

I have massive respect for the lad, and it is great to see him coming good for you guys...

You were not alone there mate, there were many, i felt like a lonely voice at the time, but it was 'Colbacks better etc'.

I'm chuffed for Henderson, hope he goes to the world cup.

2 important questions
Did you mentions your views on Look North?
Did you put in a good word for Billy with Dawn?

Is the Meyler rubbing Pardews tits and Elmo sticking his tongue in his ear?

Gan on, kinky Tiggggggggggggggggggggeers, ggggrrrrr.

Had a cracking day yesterday, shame about the result but we gave it a good go, can hold our heads high - proud to be a Sunderland fan!!

Here are some pics from the day, enjoyed being in Club Wembley, not sure it's fully worth the extra exactly but for a special occasion like this and if you can afford it why not?

Smashing pics that caught the atmosphere lovely. Watch it on sky over here and the only shots we got was of the centre circle until they dropped the club banners et, and even then it was vision only.

would love to have been, 3am on a Monday morning on your tod is to way to get immersed in the overall spectacle.

I'm on one of those, fame at last. The giant floating club badges were awesome, I thought the lady floating round with the cup was going to get burned alive at one point but she didn't thank ****

When I went to register the birth of my daughter I asked the registrar what was the worst name she had come across. She said 'sdeel', my wife and I looked at each other quizzically, the registrar said 'the father was covered in football tattoos', then the penny dropped. Classy!

Thought the banners were a great touch too, anyone who thinks this, or any, cup final doesn't mean anything is an idiot! Walking down Olympic way with all of the Sunderland images down the side and when that banner unfurled I was buzzing!! It means something all right!!

SAFC Nacho - if you want a bigger version of the pic you're in send me a pm
