Me too. The only appeal is the chance of a trip abroad for die hard travelling fans. They have earned such a day, but even if we did qualify, it's hardly any sort of level playing field.

Thankfully Newcastle won’t their Fairs Trade Cup by beating a club they can’t even spell …

… imagine if it had been Real Madrid <laugh>

Are you lot familiar with Aesops fable, “The fox and the grapes”?

Yes. But I Prefer the Flea and The Camel, which I always thought was appropriate for you lot.

Ironically your famous flag always reminded me of that fable …

… ‘We don’t demand a team that wins, just one that tries’ <laugh>

Sounds like it was Wrexham pushing for it to happen, unsurprising given their owners

It's simple really, if you want to play in a Welsh cup - join the Welsh leagues

FAW chucking money about lately and trying to get Merthyr Tydfil back into their leagues, honestly I wouldn't mind seeing proper Welsh leagues the way we have the Scottish leagues, with decent teams and a respectable professional competition.

Give them a bye from the EFL and they can join the Welsh league. Starting at the bottom of course.
