After having let the dust settle (and drunkness to go) my thoughts on yesterdat were...
Wiggins and Hayes worked hard and looked solid in the first half, Green and Morrission looked very good in the second half. Jackson and Docherty were both solid as captains and didn't do much wrong. Mambo (very happy he was no5) Warren, Solly, Davission, pritchard, andersen and hollands all made a good account of them selves and williams looked like he could be a good option off the bench should we choose to sign him.
Everyone around me seemed to like stephens (i didn't think he was too bad) but needs some time along with taylor. And we're yet to see alonso and evina, very positive i'd say but a long way to go yet :)

All sounds positive considering yes, it is the first game after a long break with a completely new squad. Having only seen the highlight video it was nice to see some ball on the floor accurate and often. The small mistakes will easily be weened out.

Taylor critics, he will be fine I have no doubt, good player.

Solely looked to have a very good game as did Hollands and green. My moniker came with no knowledge of the lad but it has to be said from e highlights it looked as if Pritchard did very well and getting into dangerous positions from the midfield, which is a good thing.

A pleasantly good start to a long season to come
