Well I have to say, unsurprising result. I was pessimistic about this one, and NOTHING suggested that this was going to be an easy game. Credit to your defense, they settled well after half time, and as usual when the **** hit the fan, we had no plan B.

We all (well.. the more sensible posters of us) predicted a very close match. Probably quite heated. And it was just that really. Hard luck and we'll see you at St James!

At least it will slap some sense into some of our more deluded fans. Every year we get fans saying "We've never had it better" "This year we can really push on".

Im sorry but I believe we have stood still year on year, losing Bent with no replacement has led to some truly atrocious hoofball up to Gyan (Hardly a beanpole) and Sessegnon who may as well be the 8th dwarf. This is NEVER going to work against tanks like Colo and like I say, when it doesn't work, it seems we have no plan B. This usually results in players getting frustrated, and getting booked (We had one of the worst disciplinary records last year usually from the panic that ensues when we go behind) and once Sunderland go behind, we rarely come back into a game.
