i had a pager that used to go off if i didn't answer the phone [because i always switched it off as didn't want to be found]. in the end i had to explain to my partners that phoning me and getting me to make prices [i was a Stock Exchange market maker] when i was completely and utterly pissed wasn't a good idea, and that if i made the wrong price we would lose money etc. they started to see then sense in that, but completely understood when i got totally off my face and lost the ****ing phone, which they never did find. the pager lasted about another week, and then i lost that. oh well those were the days.
My first phone was a Samsung Gal S25. It was the first phone with both an instant orgasm button and time travel capability.
Same, it was either a 1or 2. Only had one between 4 of us and the Monday morning handover resembled an awards ceremony!! Too big to carry without looking like a knob and signal coverage was shocking. Like yours, it spent most of its time switched off and confined to the glove compartment of the car.
