Well, well, I was wrong about Farke
The fella has made quite a mark,
But what do I know
Getting old and slow
A candidate soon for the Ark

What I never thought I would see
Again, seems as if it will be,
Premiership mirth
On Carrow Road turf
While Town slipped away quietly

So tell me, just how have they played
As I´ve missed this season´s parade,
But points ninety-four
Is quite a good score
So much must have been up to grade

No doubt you all thought, ´twas the last
You´d heard of me, but gasp <yikes>, aghast,
In Canary gown
It´s hard to keep down
A conversing ghost from the past

I´m delighted for Delia S
Carrow Road´s loyal mistress,
Promotion she´s seen
In yellow and green
Once more, so enjoy the success.

A voice from the past indeed, RBF. Farke fooled us all (and all the pundits as well) but I hoped the attractive playing style would produce points as well and so it proved to be. Who could have predicted that a free transfer like Pukki would turn out to win the golden boot, or the Buendia bargain, or the transformation of Stiepermann - I could go on and on.

Morning Rick. I think Pukki came from Danish football, Brøndby wasn´t it?, and if I remember, he wasn´t anything to write home about there - so ´new pastures´ and all that. Whether he´ll find another level is perhaps debatable.

In his last 3 years at Brøndby he scored 31 goals in 81 starts and 12 sub appearances, including 20 in his final season there. He's also done well for Finland in recent years. The step up this year has also been due to his fit with and the service he's received from Buendia, Hernandez and Stiepermann (28 assists between them). Pukki also has 9 assists himself. I could see him scoring around 15-20 goals next season with only 38 games rather than 46.

But Hughton´s done well
Since his City spell
To offset those sour final days

And thanks for your words, so kind
It´s that sort that stick in the mind,
I too, took a break
For sanity´s sake
Which I hope will soon be realigned. :emoticon-0102-bigsm
