Am I missing something? It looks like the same table, only minus a few countries who presumably didn't have any terrorist incidents that year. Belgium and Poland only feature in 2006, Denmark only features in 2007 and Germany and Portugal don't feature in 2008. What have I missed?
But you can never write off the Germans, a few sucide sprees by some unhappy Greeks and they could find themselves right back in the race.
being a busier man these days I havent got the time to go into the small details. But suffice to say if you are not versed the stop throwing stuff around that by your own admission you dont understand. In fact get versed and maybe you will see that what passes of in teh name of religion is anything but. Of course this is the difficult route as it means thinking for yourself instead of following the crowd. Maybe if you looked at the reports about say the 9/11 fellas by the americans you will notice that drinking/adultary and clubbing isnt exactly teh preparation you are referring to.
Ahh my agnostic friend appears and as per goes off on a tangent. Tell me do you believe in God this week? anyway to the issues at hand, firstly my post was a specific response to mick and to teh 2 ayahs he cited wrongly. so lets keep it in context shall we pudding secondly the tables you have gleaned form professor google or was it your favourite sheikh wikki have a slight problem with them. I will give you a hint USA. Or are you reinforcing my point by saying the figures of 99.6% are worldwide/eu wide. My point being that the war on ''terror'' is misleading The point as clearly stated was attacks, not deaths. I think you will find the biggest casualties have actually been as result of terrorism by the USA/UK and other ally forces. Of course some of tehse figures are more recent than 2005 interesting that out of the 3 tables you have cited only 5 incidences out of over 1500 are in the Islamist column. majoriyty being in teh seperatist column. Clues there too it seems In fact before the tables the author says ''I used official FBI records to show that only 6% of terrorist attacks on U.S. soil from 1980 to 2005 were carried out by Islamic extremists. The remaining 94% were from other groups (42% from Latinos, 24% from extreme left wing groups, 7% from extremist Jews, 5% from communists, and 16% from all other groups).'' interesting that even Jews have carried out more in that period You should have posted the 3D barchart which highlights the 99.6% issue
