Eyup Boothen ! NICE to see another OLDER Stokie than my good self on here<laugh>

Let's hope that more of the regulars join in. I actually prefer this cos you can kind of mess around with fonts, smiley's whatver.

Keep the FAITH and here's to a decent performance from the lads tonight. Hold on tight and let's not damage our goal difference too much eh? <whistle>

Boothen, Great to see you on board mate :D It really is great to see regulars joining :)

And yeah I prefer it somewhat, but the good old days of banter on BBC 606 shall never be forgot. :emoticon-0117-talki

Talking about banter ..... I once had Banksie in my bedroom ..... now go on, admit it, your intrigued!!!!!! Oo er missus, no don't ..... don't mod me yet Potts:angel:

I won't mod you mate no problem. But, I'd love to know when and how re Banksie and the bedroom please explain. Maybe Kimbo know's something I don't whoever she is!

Back on topic, I saw Big Denis the Legend Smith in Newcastle last week! The guy was on crutches and I didn't have the nerve to go and ask him what had happened!
Maybe it's and old injury? And, he still looks erm BIG and like he could really get stuck in. :emoticon-0108-speec

Banksie was a director a a squash club at Brindley Ford, and they held a fund raising event for which the proceeds were given to the children's home which my mum ran. I asked him to sign a couple of pictures for me that were on my bedroom wall - I was 17 - 18 at the time and Banksie was my footballing hero - he agreed to sign, but what he didn't know was that among 40-50 pictures on the wall about a dozen were of him .... he signed more than 2!!!!

He also spent 20 minutes or so talking about football and some of the games he'd played in - especially those that feature him on the wall.

An absolutely brilliant moment for me - an absolute gentleman.

:1980_boogie_down:Hi potts

yes, much better i agree.
I use a site for my hobby that has the same basic structure and it is much more user friendly, moderation is not often needed as the site self regulates. With a bit of luck this site will do the same and go from strength to strength. I posted very little as Pottersmust, as i didn't like the set up of 606.

Take care
