That's mental. You would be able to add incredible dip and power to long range free kicks. Is it taking the piss out of football though? Where does it stop and what's next? Webbed keeper kits?
Preview of Pants next season keeper kit: (would've photoshopped it to make it look like he was on a footy field but couldn't be arsed!!) please log in to view this image
You would have to be a proper clogger of a footballer to feel like you were getting anything out of square toes. Doing anything other than a toe punt would be awful. When was the last time you saw a pro take a toe punt other than a reflex stab in the six yard box. Come to mention it, when was the last time you saw anyone older than ten using a toe ount in a kick around? Honestly I think the makers need their heads looked at........I'm predicting pretty prompt liquidation.
Well you don't see it because it's not possible to get effective results in conventional boots. It's not for me as I think it's cheating a bit. But I'd like to try and test them like I did with predictors(also cheating a bit imo). Just out of curiosity. To generate power you need to put your laces though it. The way the foot works that makes it very difficult to add top spin. This would change that. I really want to see how I could get the ball to behave particularly getting it up and down over a wall from range.
