That was ****ing frustrating. Very well played Chelsea, very well organised and efficient with the ball, by the last 20 mins of the second half we were out of ideas. I've just read Rodgers post match interview, if what was written is true to the speach then I'm dissapointed. You can't say a team didn't play to win when they beat you 2 nil, and to say they played six at the back as if its a bad thing is a bit out of order, a teams line up is up to them, it was out job to find a way to win. Could have been a bit more gracious in defeat imo. We couldn't beat you today, see how the season goes. Well done again.
You'll go through to the final and if that wasnt some players you'll be calling upon, I'd gladly have a couple of your reserves in our squad!
You already have, and they are doing fine. Chin up dude, your lot have surprised a lot of people this year, and it ain't over yet.
Nice to see so many Liverpool lads on with genuine congratulations. Cracking game in terms of tension, not a poor performance from any player on either team. On our side, Matic, Ivan Cole and young Kalas were just great, Azpi too as usual. Schwartzer showed why he has been a top rate goalkeeper for his entire career. All the Pool players ran till they dropped and they have some excellent talent. They just need a bit more grunt in midfield and an Ivan like defender to be a really top team. The 2 best Managers also showed why they are just that with Jose a close winner.........again. As far as Im concerned, Brendon Rogers has a home when Jose retires, in SW6. Good luck to Liverpool for the title, they genuinely deserve to be in the frame.
Cheers fella, if you mean Moses though after a bright start he has quickly faded! Obv gutted about today, our aim was to get back in CL and we have done that.......still hurts though but such is life and being a supporter! City play Everton next Sat evening, all Everton have to do is stop City winning then we go to Palace Mon night.....which wont be an easy fixture but if Everton win/draw v City.....who knows!
Actually watching the interview on the news, he was a little bit bitter. But winners don't make good losers, so he is allowed to criticize the opposition to deflect from his own side. Jose and fergie do it every week!
