Steve bruce is a good appointment, he is a decent bloke for ex man u..,but there will be a lingering question mark.. is he your owners first choice? and is hull his first choice?
What difference does that make? We wanted a manager, we got a manger, job done(even if he is a mildly annoying fat head).
It might seem negative at face value, but I'd rather have a manager who other teams want than someone that no-one wants. So we're 2nd choice to a few bigger clubs. Sounds to me like we're doing well if he signs for us.
well, from our past experience, we have had managers who walked out when so called better opportunities have presented themselves, when they "didn't settle" in leicester.. ... the great "meggo" megson..after a few weeks, ditto..mark mcGhee.... if they feel they were not first choice , why would they be loyal? owners never are...Im sure steve bruce took note of what happened to the "local legend" nicky barmby... and im sure there is no need to remind you of "old flat head"...one sacked, one walked... in short order ...coincidence ? bruce has been shat on before, im sure his tolerance levels are low..

was never a realistic proposition...grapevine let it be known, no chance..,...he was never offered the job so didn't turn it down....fantasy land. thats not a long list though....look if your 100% happy with bruce, good luck...He is a good manager, but has he jumped at the chance? there are two scenarios....either bruce will run your owners, or the owners will run bruce... can't see either being a happy marriage ,but I might be wrong..
