Sorry MITO I didn't mean that to be snide...I meant it to be as obvious as possible I agree about Allen but Hendo has the workrate required to allow Gerrard to play the game how he needs to these days. As for the bench it's definitely an issue to a certain extent but it might look a whole lot better if Coutinho comes in and makes an impact or if Borini comes good. We'll have to wait and see on that one. Lucas has een a tad hit and miss but he's got the same issue Gerrard had earlier in the season. When you're out injured for long spells it takes time to get back to top form. I won't complain if Gerrard gets injured on international duty either. He's the captain and unlike certain people before him I think he's very proud of that. A game like Brazil he'll revel in so I don't think any Reds fan should begrudge him that.
tbh it wasn't much of a competition. A generally useless England team, in which Gerrard was the only player performing in this past year.
