i just hope that vWW is still on the radar for the summer recruitment drive. now we know about him and his contractural position i think we have to be very serious about signing him.
in all honesty, i would be staggered if we could sign him. he is far more likely to end up at a bigger club than us i'm afraid. nothing wrong with trying but i fear we'd be chasing shadows on that one!
RE RVW it showed great ambition for us to even seriously consider signing him. Who know if sporting had not cocked up trying to sign a player who had already played for 2 clubs maybe things would be different. It looks like he will leave in the summer and Im sure we will enquire. Sadly he is a very good player and many other clubs will be sniffing around. However I am confident if we stay up we will bring in some real quality other the summer. The fact our record transfer is still 3.5 million is incredible in this day and age.
CH on the record as saying we will continue to track both Hooper & RVW in the summer..... Much better time to look at players than now. I think we have come out of this very well TBH and have a stronger pool of first team options than we had going in.
Good to see they are still after them. Im sure they will assess other options too.As you say they will be more chance of signing them in the summer as well
