Good win yes. Just wondering where Faurlin was on Saturday when the game was screaming out for a midfielder to put his foot on the ball. Was he injured?

Over to you Jim for an explanation.

Smart to introduce Hill and allow us to keep the fullback selection that has worked recently. Something none of the fans thought of.
I'm glad Polter came back into the side too- the correct decision

He picked the strongest available team.
As long as he keeps doing that he will get more support from me.

Well done JFH and the lads.

Very important win for QPR and well done to JFH but we have to play better against the sides below us. We play ok against the sides which are higher on the table than us. Also we must win Brentford next saturday and end our horrible london derby bogey..

9 points off playoffs, 10 games left, is it possible?

On the other hand, 12 points off drop spots, is that possible too?

Questions, questions

I echo everyone else's thoughts on here. Good team selection, players worked extremely hard. Special mention to Henry, perch and hoilett who I thought were excellent. only thing I can pick a fault with is that perhaps faurlin and/or polter should have been subbed second half, both looked knackered. Other than that, a top display and thoroughly deserving win.

Why did we look a different team after the break !? We went to **** .... Darby were poor in the second half .

Or am I knit picking ?

Thought we were good tonight. The players chased down and hassled all night.
By 70 minutes they looked knackered and wanted JFH to make a couple of subs.
Mackie should have looked up when Faurlin had an open goal and Polter needs to turn all that hard work into goals.
Went away happy tonight.
Good to catch up with 999's,Tooting,Sku,Stroller and others who made the pub for pre-match drink.
Great to see you all again. :emoticon-0148-yes:

There's usually a team that makes a late surge from mid table up to the play offs, not sure we have the consistency to do that though, last three games we've turned over two promotion hopefuls sandwiched between getting easily beat by relegation fodder! Stranger things have happened though!!

We had run our socks off to get to the point that we were Jimbo. Even the best teams have a lull and the other side get's on top for a brief period. I think we rode it out pretty well due to the efforts of the spine, Hill, Henry and Angella. Smithes only had on save from Bent to save and an odd looping catch from someone or other.

We got our second wind and scored the second that sealed the game. What a relief and what a result. It was a good all-round team performance I feel.
