But it won't get as many visitors as Hull, surely.

Met my wife there. Still haven't forgiven the place.

Perhaps you can share your visitor stats with us?

Even better, a graph with one axis of resident population and the other axis verified visitor presences.

Plot 3 lines: Hull, Brid and Scarbrough..

Is Scarbrough a suburb of Middlesbrough?

Number of visitors compared to population would be Scarborough, though not by that much, Brid then Hull.

    You mean Middlesborough?

    (Clue: the nickname is Boro)

    Share those stats please

No, I mean Middlesbrough. This place- https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middlesbrough

Bride's population goes up from 38,000 to 100,000 in the summer months. That comes from the figures given about the number of people who might need treatment when there was uproar when they closed some wards at the hospital and transferred depots to Scarborough and York. Scarborough has double the population of Brid and may well get twice the number of visitors.
I don't think Hull has 700,000 in the summer months each week, the same proportion as Brid has.
Having said that, both Brid and Scarborough have gone down the pan and the quality of visitors has decreased.

Indeed, Brid = always the bridesmaid.

In other news Hull drubbed at home by Wakeh last night, attendance still being calculated

It is smaller than Scarborough so should expect not to surpass them. However, Hull is larger than Norwich so that doesn't always guarantee superiority.

So? Norwich are the club at the top of the division we are in. And doesn't have the many attractions of Norwich that sees visitors flocking in. Watford is smaller than Hull.

    Size isn't everything

Watford is one of the worst places in the UK I've been to.

I'm surprised they don't play in an all beige strip.

It won't be the be the worst as long as Middlesbrough and Stoke are about. Derby is pretty dull.

Though Mosquito fighter planes and Halifax bombers were made there. That site is now where the studios are where the Harry Potter films are made.

    Watford prosperous but dull.

Borough and Stoke both impecunious but character-rich.

It was played in Hull when I watched it. Said to be historically their worst ever home defeat.

    Soz

Assumed such a demolition must have been away.

I hope the SMC are charging them an increased amount for scoreboard activity. The screen must be overheating and in danger of burnout.
