I always think with Castle Hill that if you can find a parking place it's already a result.

Hope your red and whites win playing against Workington from my old county. Did you know that for almost 2 years in the mid-fifties Workington were managed by Bill Shankly, a few years before he hit the jackpot at Liverpool?

I also second your message to Barchullona.

I am sure I have seen City v Workington in division 4.

    -----

    Off Topic a bit
Hull Royal freaks me out just looking at the place yet Castle Hill doesn't for some reason..well pleased I only ever spent half a day in Hull Royal and then I buggered off back to Filey before I was seen. I am the biggest coward going when it comes to hospitals.

Stadium Record attendance for New Craven Park last night, and the highest sporting attendance in the city for a number of months.

Some people on here are frigging pathetic. It's a different sport FFS, and m9sning about RH coverage and us not getting our share, perhaps we shouldn't ban the radio station from commentating on our games

What is pathetic is your comment 'the highest sporting attendance in the city for months' when you know that is not true,
Typifies the need to exaggerate the game and occasion on every point whilst having a pop at football in Hull.
Probably why there is so much animosity ( on both sides).

So you take the attendances at the KCOM as gospel then do you?

Just seen the winning try in Breakfast tv and seemed to be a fair few empty seats behind the goal..

    What was the attendance?

Ehaw reckons it was 19,078 but was having his hair washed at the time.

Great game, especially for the first match of a season when teams are half fit and have a long season ahead. Great scheduling IMO. They should do the same with the Premiership. the so called big 6 play each other in the first 5 games, so that they can experience being bottom after 5....

Its tickets sold unless you have evidence to the contrary and the rugby league clubs never exaggerate anything ( world famous for example) to make the game appear bigger and more popular that it really is do they?
Why is it important to you to claim it was the biggest sporting crowd this city has seen for a few months ?
I'll give you that it was the biggest sporting crowd seen in this city so far this month.

I thought it was the worse scheduling they could have come up with. First game on the opening week end of the far bigger and more popular Six Nations ?
Seriously the start of the RL super league season never got a mention all day on 5Live sports and all the sports news on the television was rightly centred on the start of the Six Nations. It was another huge own goal by the RL hierarchy.
