Wins one match with a team full of players on astronomical wages against a doomed lower league side and the national media and the prawners all start jizzing in their pants. Hilarious
I've always found Man Utd to be the more tolerable of the big clubs. Their fans are a lot more level headed than fans from say Liverpool or Chelsea. I think there's a problem in this country, and in particular this city, where people confuse success with arrogance.
Some middle-aged turd on the news rubbishing Moyes saying he'd taken Manchester to a new low. Obviously not around in the 70s and 80s then......
I've got no beef with an arrogant Man Utd fan if they're from Manchester. They've earned the right. Arrogant arse wipes who've been to one game( ever) is another matter and there's f**king loads of the ****s. I hope Hedgehog face stays and they get relegated next season.
Never hated Man United until this season. Believe it or not I never really knew any glory hunter type fans until the last year or two, everyone I knew who was into footy either supported their family team or local team, most supported Leicester. But this season, seeing all the plastics, gobshites, and just general ****s squirm out the woodwork wailing on facebook, in the pub, on radio phone ins etc, I ****ing hate them. Some of the utter bullshit I've heard some of them come out with is unreal, some people whinge over people pissing their pants on here but it's doesn't even come close to the plastic pant ****ting. "I've been a United fan for 20 years but I refuse to go to old trafford or watch them while Moyes is here" "Are you a season ticket holder?" "No, but I went once 10 years ago" "I've given up on Man U, who should I support next? Not Liverpool or Man City" "This season is the biggest disaster in the history of football" "We are so bad under Moyes I'm cancelling my sky sports subscription, I'd just rather not watch any football" "If we don't qualify for Europe this season I'm packing it in" None are direct quotes (thou the first one I think is almost word for word part of a convo a Man U fan had when ringing talksport) but each one is there or there abouts the kind of rubbish I've heard from the ****s.
They don't have fans the majority can't call themselves fans that's my problem with them, even I can name their squad and what result their reserves had yet the sheer amount of plastic glory supporters they have is really annoying. I'm a Man Utd fans worst nightmare I shut em right up with my knowledge and it fishes the plastic/part timers out straight away, that's what my problem is with them! Apart from that I've enjoyed the football they've produced over the years, just not when they play city!
Funnily I saw something in the comments section of a Moyes story on SSN & it was from someone called, wasrednowblue: "I couldn't watch Utd anymore that's why I switched to City." I know a lot of City & Utd fans & I'm sure none would want anyone like that associated with their club. However in sure their money,if they ever spent any, would have been welcomed. I expect this person next season to be called wasrednowbluebackred & to be a Liverpool fan!
Mr Shackleton. I hope in heaven's sake you are not Irish as your name sake was, because your ignorance of so many things would make the Emerald Isle turn red with shame.
Only to tell you we're not interested. When I start discussing Man United's team/management issues you'll have a point, but it aint gonna happen.
so why comment then .. let it go down the pages like it should do as far as your concerned ... all I see here is the same few people who basically live, bleed and die hull city .. wow .. life is so much more than that
