Yeah I was watching the hillsborough game on BT and they said there are reports although Utd have remained silent. I think Giggs will be caretaker manager for the rest of the season.

Well said.!!!!Some think he should have come in and won every game they don't seem to understand that he had to sort the club out from the mess laudrup created to ever get results on the pitch. you have to understand how a football club works before you can pretend to know what your talking about.. He is doing a fantastic job.
Aren't you a rugby player yourself? I believe Ivor played to a good standard and has known people within the game. That's a guy who knows what he is talking about.
Do we need a director of football at a club like ours? Im not sure but i have an open mind and would not be against it if it happens. It has worked at other clubs and it has failed also at some clubs so i dont know. Im not against anything new at the club if we have not tried it so i cant really condemn it.

Yes agree Uzi, Monk played a very good game today, and against Lambert who has mostly got the better of us in the past, think we definitely need to keep my boy Emnes, second penalty again today, and Monk needs to give this lad some well deserved extra time on the pitch. Great result for us and we are now very safe indeed thanks to Garry Monk rescuing our season from a very inept Laudrup!..................
I could never describe Laudrup as inept. He delivered our best season ever even though we were struggling during his last few months and I can understand his sacking even if I disagreed with the timing and the manner of it. Monk hasn't achieved a fraction of what Laudrup did and nobody can argue with that whether you are pro Laudrup or anti. Good result today against a poor Villa side that at times we made look half decent. This is a side that hasn't won a game away snce New Years Day and their main man Benteke was missing. In other words it would have been a disaster to have not won it. Kudos to Monk and the boys. More of the same next week please.
I can, his football was crap after the cup win and I'm glad the board sacked him! Monk I can see being made manager, that should please quite a few on here...................
we wanted a big win and monk delivered a big win We cant ask any more off him than that. Great atmosphere, great support for monk and a great wonder goal from shelvey that will be hard to beat as goal of the season...Oh he who has little faith..
