Broon must have had a massive reach
The Big Broon was a very remarkable man - he kicked it all off in the U.S. first. Then he spread it all over Europe and Australia/NZ.

His mistake was in not letting the ****erbankers go bust. Instead they have walked away with the profits and we are left with the debts = austerity and food banks.

Sounds as if we're in agreement?

I'm not sure, I care not for the antics of the crooks in the House of Lords.

    Wait...

So a bloke with more money than he can spend gets his family to donate money to charity and you're giving him the credit? Surely you should be congratulating the Robertson family rather than the lad himself? He didn't even hand the cheque over.

You do realise that this money was given to a foodbank instead of buying him gifts for his 21st birthday. Perhaps if he called people ****ing pricks and acted like an obnoxious **** you'd have more respect for him.

Having read the article, of course I do.

But playing devils advocate raised a few questions in my mind. 1) What sort of 21 year old asks for birthday presents? 2) Why can't he donate the money himself? 3) How dare he take the spotlight from people who have actually raised money?

    1) every 21 year old asks for or expects presents - he declined
    2) he did donate the money indirectly by channelling the money away from himself
    3) he gave full credit to his friends/family and his parents made the presentation

Personally, I think it showed remarkable maturity for a young man.

    Now, stop being a prat.

Why play devils advocate over a young lad doing a good thing? Do you think you don't look enough of a **** yet?
    1) he didn't ask for presents, he asked for donations to charity instead.
    2) who says he didn't? He does charity work in Hull.
    3) there is plenty of credit to the people who donated. He is simply using his high profile to raise awareness of a charity.

Do you ever feel like you're on the wrong team? Defending ****ish behaviour and attacking charitable acts.

I would be interested to know how this made the media. Did Robbo go knocking on the local press' doors or was it the foodbank itself? I expect the latter, if it's the former it's a bit dodgy. Guess we'll never know.

And before anyone says anything, this isnt a criticism at all cos we dont know what happened. Just some people - I'm not saying Robbo - do these things specifically for good PR rather than the cause itself.

Sometimes, charity work by high profile people can prompt others to follow the example by making donations themselves although I do concede that there are those who do it for self publicity. I am sure young Mr Robertson must have done it for the right reasons.

    I wish you'd just **** off.

You come across as a proper silly **** at the best of times but just lately you're managing to surpass your own, very high, standards of ****ishness.

Takes some doing but in all honesty you're making it look easy.

I've been taking notes this month and, halfway into the month, this already looks the second strongest one yet after August, which was just an incredible start.

Good one. Almost as good as the one about Liam Moore being England-worthy.

The number 1 centre half for the Under 21s? Yeah, he has a seriously bright future.

Speaking of English centre halves, how is Curtis Davies doing nowadays? <laugh>
