    ITIWRAN,

It doesn't matter how often it is explained, how often you talk about how the debt is structured, they will just spout rubbish as if they have access to the Cardiff City book's themselves. :)

the source of his info ITI is derived from being totally and utterly obsessed by the capital. it really is surprising to see the level of knowledge / made up facts they know about our club......... i know next to nothing about swanseas finances, other than they are doing quite well and have been in administration in the not too distant past.........

if you believed half the garbage they spout then any alien arriving on this thread would be surprised to hear that we're now in the premier league, and the gamble has spectacularly paid off.......

FFS let the trolls hate and enjoy the success <ale>

'Swansea will have the Youth Academy, Training facilities (only the pitches are leased) and will be taking a far more significant stake of ownership on the stadium as has already been reported. It is gathering it's assets and keeping cash in the bank, that is smart business.'

so, nice to see our cousins moving into the 21st century....... sorry to burst your bubble but having a youth academy is not really something to brag about, in fact its a disgrace that a premierleague club in the 21st century can get by on neglecting the life and soul of any football club then come on here bragging about it......<doh>

It's because they read a headline. Remember, that Mr. Tan in essence owes himself £40 million of this "debt". I wonder if he will take himself to court when he doesn't pay himself.

Either you can attract wealthy owners or you have to save your pennies yourself.

When Tan looked for a club to buy lets look who that club was, the one with the most potential obviously.

You are such a silly slut Dragqueen ..... Most of us will take your bet as long as you give the same odds as the bookies are giving - but that probably hasn't crossed your tiny little mind ....Your team has got experience in the Premier league (not Premiership as you like to call it- thats a rugby term) and our team are just about to play their first game so I guess the odds will favour people wanting to bet on Cardiff City
Match the odds in ... say Ladbrokes and I will bet whatever amount you ask
Now go back out and play

It's nice to see your manager is wanting to do it his own way, and not copy that of someone else.

You've got a fantastic manager in MM, and give it a few years, you will struggle to keep hold of him. So, in the time he is with you, it's great that he wants to do so well, but also keeping within the budget the club can afford rather than doing a QPR.

I don't think for one minute we will get six points of you next season, and I won't even consider it. Form mgoes right out of the window in a derby, and you boys may be new to it, but I will be a damn sight happy with 4 points from the 6.

Once again, I look forwards to playing you, I will wish you no bad results etc etc and here's to a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong, boring summer!!!!

    Cheers :emoticon-0150-hands

If you take six points then you deserve it, anyway at least you show your club and fans in a good light.

Malky and Dave Jones had full control from our owners and both were allowed to build their own teams and the financial support needed was available.

Now we are finally in the premier league I would imagine Malky would be hard pressed to find a better club than Cardiff to manage.

You start off telling us about our finances and the rules in the in the Premier League and declaring we'll be working our way back from L2 in the not too distant future (the Portsmouth model). Lets be fair you weren't even close to acurate with anything you said, not a word.

Most posters would have had the good grace to do one and realise a poor wum had been totally flamed by much better informed posters.

Im pretty sure our Youth team put 6 past theirs in their last meeting.

Think our development team done the double over theirs as well. Danny Graham I believe got a consolation penalty.

Our academy set up is miles ahead of the Jacks!

Not sure why there's a need to slate eachother. Cardiff would be right to not change the approach that has been successful for them - success is built on sensible progression not sweeping changes. Building in a way that is appropriate to your club is the most important thing.

There will be things to address, as there is for any promoted club, but it would be counter-productive to make sweeping changes. Indeed, that was the major problem for QPR, I think. Not always the players they signed but the sweeping and reactionary nature of it. There wasn't a plan.

If a team plays with wing-backs, you build for that, if a team plays with wingers you build for that. No sense in ripping it all up. The Prem is enough of a challenge, but to also throw in playing a new system would be dooming a team from the start.

I also go along with the idea that the Prem is good becuase there are so many differnet ways of playing. For example, it seems clear that Barcelona-style is not the only way after the German teams slaughter the Spaniards. That doesn't mean that Tika-taka doesn't work, but that there are different ways to play the beautiful game.

Anyway, best wishes for the new season (except against us).

P.S. the fact that we have different playing styles is actually good as well. If we were playing the same styles then we'd be fighting over the same players - better that we're two separate entities.
