Great to see Hull with us as Prem teams, we'll have a few friend up there from last season.
 
Hopefully we'll have lots of visitors keen to discuss football and join in the sensible debate.
 
Ash - I fear you're correct mate as far as some of your charges are concerned.

Agreed remote - and not just from 40 miles due west either. Most down there would be more than welcome on here unlike any Cardiff supporter who visits them. You need a bloody tin hat on posting down there even if you just pop in to say hello......<laugh>

There are eighteen other clubs to spar with as well as football chat. At least we've got the Hull lads coming up there with us - they were a great bunch last year. For that reason, shame Watford didn't manage it - a similar decent not606 crowd, whereas the Palace forum is like a morgue.

Looking forward to a great season. We wanted it and eventually got it, now we need to enjoy it.

Staying up would be enough for most however it's achieved. Struggling to the end in the bottom half dozen whilst we come to grips with it all, or the security of the mid-table comfort zone seem the two obvious options - we'd better leave the Champions League push for another season. <whistle>

Let's hope for some good banter but things stay civil.

Welcome and enjoy guys. You are going to love the Premier League as well as the PL board, it really is all it's cracked up to be.

Takes a while to sink in mind and one of the major plus points is not having to stay up until stupid o'clock to watch 30 seconds of your match on the Football League Show. ;)

Did a gig with a sax player mate of mine from Cardiff a few weeks ago and he was buzzing about the season ahead. Had some great banter with him, both off and on stage, and it brought back to me the excitement I felt when anticipating going to the Liberty in our first PL season.

So buckle up and enjoy the ride! <cheers>
