    If you look at our first team squad on the official site, we now appear to have quite a young squad, many of whom are from the academy. Super stuff.

    But you can't play just youth, as you need experienced heads to hold them together. We have that.

    But oif we only had £1m left to spend, I would wait until exactly the right player came along at the right price - a creative midfielder, tenacious, charismatic, great ball control, commanding. Probably about 28-29 years old, played at high levels, and wants to become a legend at LUFC. A new Strachan anyone?
