Just enjoy the team. All the negative emotions only harm you, and not the owners, who live in a different world.
An unfortunate truth. The galling thing is, the fans will be around long after the owners, often suffering as a result. I always thought it would be tough for you coming down and having to balance the books, but what has happened during this window can be described as reckless at best, ruthless and more at worst. Either way it is you guys suffering through no fault of your own. Ironically, a year or two back, quite a few of your posters were quite vocal in the derision of our owner on our board. With a change in perspective, he looks like a saint at the moment. Genuinely hope potter can steady the ship and balance the squad in the loan transfer window. It will take a few more windows before you come out the other side though. Said it before, it took 3 years to clear up the mess of our promotion, though that was down to naivity of our owner rather than maliciousness, and poor decisions by our managers.
I remember when Tan burst on the scene, with his belt up around his Adam's Apple. He became an instant figure of fun, a perfect target for the wit and bile of opposition supporters. All Clubs have them, and Cardiff has it's fair share. It all goes with the territory. Then he wanted to interfere with history by changing the colour of your tops. That was always going to be a loser. He showed his naivety by trying to impose his Eastern male domination, where he usually gets his way. To his credit, he saw the light, and has now become a much more respected individual. Not many laugh at him now, although I don't think his belt is any lower. Swansea City are now in a transition period, and many down here are worried sick that the fall may continue. Time will tell, of course. Good to interact with you cc.
'Our' club in the fact, that it's the one we as fans/supporters, follow, love & support. They play in 'our' city & carry the same name. We're not talking about any other club in any other city/town, we're alluding to 'our' club. Now I pay a lot of my hard earned money to follow the Swans & for that reason I'll have whatever opinion I wish & will reference them accordingly. I don't own anything of the club, correct, but played my tiny part in their existence way before & long after those hard nosed asset strippers will have disappeared from 'our' fair city...
If I was Brentford I’d tell Huw to **** off if he came back to loan the player. Giving it billy big bollox!!
We could have got him, it looks like he was keen. We fvcked about & have got what we deserved. You really dodged a bullet in not coming to this shambles of a club, Ryan lad..
Just want these yanks away from the club now. People were talking about accepting relegation from the premier league & further dropping down the leagues, in the hope that they would sell up & leave. But I was still reluctantly in the camp of Premier league was paramount. It was just too big a risk for the future of the club in my mind. The way I feel now, I would take being in league 1, for example, or even lower, if it meant freeing ourselves of these business men with no feeling for the club, other than monetarily stripping us. Every 'window of discontent' comes & we have to endure the same bullsh1t 'rallying calls' from these contemptible b@stards. I don't think I can endure another one... STID
I am with you and have said it from day one as most of us knew what they would do to the club, one more relegation may just get rid of these ****ers.
What this window has clearly demonstrated is that they have no intention of putting their hands in their pockets. My concern is that they have clearly taken out the costs to reflect the reduction in revenue - but the parachute payment is lower next year, so can we expect more of the same in 12 months - and even more the year after?
Which will go next , Fairwood or Landore ? ,if its Landore then the bowls club will be extremely happy.
You are using a different interpretation of the word " our " to the one I was using. You are perfectly entitled to any opinions you want, I'll not stop you.
It will, trust me. Clubs will be falling over themselves to use it. Not just for football but cricket etc. Pentrehafod Comp are having a new state of the art G4 pitch and facilities soon.Clubs are queuing up to use it.
Looks like we are making Woods the number one target in the loan transfer market, a number of reports are coming out on this including the BBC............ Link: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45174506
