and as you know, with watching The Gills , the insanity does not diminish between August & May. You've got to laugh otherwise you'll end up as mad as me ( been watching Gills for too long )
BSG I'm terribly sorry. I now realise that it was you who accused Hoadie of being a killjoy & not vice versa - I think you had made me laugh too much ( suggesting I was green-eyed ) and thereby induced a disturbance of my normal insanity and caused me to get it wrong ( notalwaysright)
Martin Allen to be named Gills boss on June 1st, first (re)signing is Simon King on a pay as you play basis on June 2nd.
Sheikh, (football) Rattle & Roll. After much time in Dubai, Paul Scally finally announces a multi billion £ investor............ ....( it's just a pity it wasn't with The Gills) -well, even for this thread I don't think anyone would have believed it. Why does Scally spend so much time away from Gillingham ? Is it because he can't stand the place ?
Hope Powell to be installed as new manager after the Olympics end on the 12th August. please log in to view this image Therefore in her absence Andy Hessenthaler will commence with all contractual arrangements and signings for the new season. By which time, once Powell is at Priestfield she will have found that King has gone, Gazza has been sold, Kedwell was injured pre season, Birchall has a set back to his injury, Tomlin does a runner (the only one that ever could run), we are then left with a load of unknowns from around Europe, a Spanish guy, a German guy, and a Romanian (with accommodation supplied)... please log in to view this image Then any Gillingham demise will always have been the fault of a woman, so she will be sacked at Christmas via twitter. This will then allow the Chairman to make another approach for Steve Bruce who is still tending his horses. please log in to view this image . . . . . . please log in to view this image
QUOTE=gills,oxon4everandaday;2887489]some much better friendly games this pre season arranged already, lets hope these games benefit us ! surely west ham utd is next up to be booked for us?! ...along with man city [/QUOTE] The post has found its' natural home
Scally doesnt spend much time in Gillingham because he hates the place? Well, I dont blame him! I was born in Gillingham and quite frankly after living there until I was 20 couldnt wait to get away! That was 28 years ago!
No word of a lie...Mick McCarthy linked with the job...Thought this was the appropriate place for it... http://theshoutingmen.wordpress.com/2012/05/28/wait-for-new-manager-goes-on/?
Mick McCarthy LOL. i knew these forums were mental but this has taken it to another level. altough i dont rate him he could easily get a job in the championship at least. had some bad luck at the weekend. was on a step ladder clearing some kebab meat off my roof (drunk kids chucked some on it on friday night) and i fell off of it and done my knee in. now stuck in a bloody wheelchair!!!! all i need now is Stimson to return and that will really finish me off
If Mick McCarthy got the job as manager - I'm pretty certain it would put a few peoples noses out of joint. ( well it is the silly season thread )
Steve Clarke, Liverpool's assistant manager looks set to leave as Brendan Rogers looks to assemble his own back room staff. Clarke harbours ambitions of a managerial role...We could be a good starter?
