I find it amazing when managers claim that they need 40 points to be safe..........................
no........................ you need more points than the bottom 3

If Crystal Palace (17th) and the two below them keep their points ratio Hull City will need 31 in total. We have 13 points. We would need another 18 points. That is 6 wins and no draws. That is achievable.

Id like to know who insisted on the 6th month contract... Ehab or
That is very achievable but most teams will add to their squad over the next few weeks and will surely improve. Also both Swansea & Palace have new managers who will do exactly the same as Silva has done for us.

Next set of 9 home games give us some opportunities to pick up 3 points with the exception of Liverpool and Spurs
B'mouth, Burnley, Swansea, West Ham, Mbrough, Watford, Sunderland are all winnable.
Away from home is a hard ask, with the exception of last three: Stoke, Southampton, Crystal Palace.
If we can get 5 home wins and 2 draws, there's 17 points. We'll need to get something from Stoke, Saints and Palace 3 draws gives us 20 points.
Finishing on 33pts which might be enough, though it will be tight.

it doesnt matter who anyone gets............. surely SB and MP have taught you that, that it doesnt matter on the player, what matters is the manager.

Allardyce may be able to do enough to keep Palace up but I'm not sure about Swansea, Sunderland and Middlesbrough doing enough. Our manager could well be better than the others.

I was there and it was the players as much as the formation/team that got us 'tonked'. I got frustrated at the Middlesbrough match

I usually listen to the TV while I'm working but I have watched everything I have recorded except for lots of football and animal programmes and you have to really watch them properly to appreciate them so I switch the TV off and work.
