I've not looked at the fixture list, only ours, but I suspect few teams have as grim an upcoming 5 games in the PL than we do. 3 points against Bournemouth is a must.
I don't know about you, but for me everything I wanted to hear. I said before MP was sacked that I hope the next person who comes in warrants respect. I don't think he'll take any ****, have any slackers and install belief in the players. Good to see Hernandez training too..!!
Just seen his interview. He speaks well & sounds confident. Voices break at a late age in Portugal. Very similar tone to Mouriniho so must be good. Said he'd been checking out the players since he first spoke to Allam. If this has been a while maybe the date on the club's statement (03/12/17) had not been corrected fully & they'd originally planned to relieve Phelan in December. He'll be one of two extremes, **** or **** hot. Welcome.
That ****ing spotty teenager who does the interviews... Seems a very driven and determined fella, I think he can do well.
I think its safe to say that in any post match interview the words 'it was just one of those horrible days' will not come out of his mouth..
I suppose everyone's got to play the top teams, we've just got them all together. At least we've got them out the way, 3 pts agains Bournemouth then hopefully burnley
I imagine Curtis' first interview will be to be fair the gaffers been different class since he came in. Theres a real buzz about the place.
He even pronounces it correctly. 'Ull City. Like Ben, I thought it was interesting that he nearly revealed when the club first contacted him but fudged his way out of it.
He comes across really well. I only wish the current owners had cleared off so he gets the support he deserves from our stay away fans in the stadium. He's taken on a tough job, I'm impressed that he's not motivated by the length of contract awarded. It's all about getting the results.
Very impressive. Wonder how long since he first had a chat with Ehab? Two weeks a month? Definitely awhile ago.
Didn't we speak to him in the summer just after SB walked/ if im wrong regards speaking to him his name was mentioned for the job
I don't think we will need 43 points as a minimum to stay up, but would be great if you can reach it.
The glass of red wine after the game the 2 managers enjoy together will probably at a different level, there are some lovely Portuguese reds.
