Newbie alert! A lot of unrest over on the other board so I thought I'd try this place on for size. Hope all is well.

That's why I've joined this board. You make a fairly innocuous comment, just adding to a thread and the usual faces are straight back at you hurling abuse. Sadly rtg is now riddled with wums and trolls.
It's actually quite surreal on there at the moment, which is a real shame. At a time when every Sunderland supporter should be forming a circle and holding hands, and willing this announcement over the line, its just endless bloodletting. And now that the 'easy targets' are no longer there the Trolls are turning on themselves. New members to this forum may feel like first day at school, but that will change. Once you find that almost everyone is a Sunderland supporter, with the club at heart, you'll feel quite at home. I grew up in an era when going to as many games as possible didn't mean being attacked as 'uber' and wanting the best for Sunderland didn't have you ridiculed as a 'happy clapper'. I hope that the 606 atmosphere of tolerance and respect can continue now that other people have joined. The well known wums & trolls who raced across here were squished like bugs when they started their insidious games. Then, like bairns with smacked bums, they're whining to each other that it's not fair ... ... irony is a foreign country to them. Apparently, everyone now posting on 606 is banned from RTG, here for a quick look or gullible idiots who've been fooled into coming

I like the crack on rtg but have seen some posters constantly griefing other individuals. I like a bit pìss take but hounding someone constantly is sad, I've seen snowflakes mentioned but you dont know what another person maybe going through. Rtg is a victim of its own success and hard for an old fart like me to keep up, I liked the peace and quiet on here but now every fecker from there has joined ffs It's certainly a talking point over there. I'll just be glad when the takeover gets anounced and things settle down with a bright future. All this has brought out the worst in some, Mind, if even if we garn on to be premier League champions there'll be one or two knackas saying we're shìte
They've banned all posted who have came over here from RTG??? Surely not, people can still go on two forums bit petty if so.
If we were champions it would probably be posters claiming to be better fans than others as they came when we we're ****e and not glory seekers
No mate, that's what the likes of Abu Dhabi are claiming, that only banned posters are coming on here because they have no choice. A mate who posts on there was saying that every other post is being deleted. It appears the Mods are trying to eliminate the wumming, trolling and personal attacks ... if only they'd thought about that before instead of counting clicks.
Im not banned... I came here to see what was going on.... I know a few lads who dont post on RTG anymore who arent banned either... these are long time members anarl
Probably noticed a drop in traffic, came over here and seen that everyone was sick of the WUMs and the lack of action taken on them.
I enjoy the laughs on RTG but what really pisses me off is the "doesn't even go to matches" brigade. I live 16,229 km as the crow flies from Sunderland. I've seen them play in person twice (Late 70's and 1990) yet spend over 500 quid a year with the club and still some say that people like me are not real supporters.
