These are times when cyber bullying and mental problems are openly spoken about and sympathised with. So it's surprising that Mods elsewhere are laughing about someone being disturbed, having a breakdown and being banned. He was apparently attacking me and Grumpy but, even so, I think we should all bear in mind that some people are genuinely troubled. It's all very posting RIP, etc when one of us passes away but perhaps we should think twice about celebrating someone having a meltdown. I like a laugh but Haway, we should be better than that.
There was certainly patterns of "clique" I had observed, totally agree with what you say. I am convinced though, that some posters on the message boards actually pretend to have mental health issues.
1st I agreed a £1000 bet with SBC that the takeover would go through. I was informed, on the board, that he had 'problems' so decided to scrub the bet. It doesn't always have to be nasty.
I've no idea but 3 Mods have been on laughing it up that he did. Whether he's genuinely ill or not you'd expect better from people running a public forum. I've seen Hank torn to pieces, on there, for years and he's a lad with real obvious issues. Surely the Mods have some duty of care if someone is being cyber bullied.
I don’t want to spend our time discussing the other forum but the poster last night was drunk IMO and tbh I thought it was very funny when he responded to one of his own posts, in effect, telling himself to get to bed. It appeared as if he didn’t realise it was himself who had made the post. That’s the last I’ll say about it.
He did that on here, too, and I honestly thought that it was deliberate (his sense of humour) and funny
