It's certainly a lot more civil here, although I do have one idiot on ignore who I can only assume followed us over but other than that, it's great to click on a thread and not have to wade through the crap to see some decent posts.

I have been more active here than in the last 10 years on the other football forum that shall remain nameless

I was there for 16 years but did not post much when it changed to PF and the morons got on

One mans meat is another mans poison and mods can run a forum as they see fit as far as I'm concerned,
I, like everyone else have a choice and mine will probably be both forums for what they offer to me,

Re your analogy, i can understand other people preferring one or the other.

How do I stop getting email alerts?
I've unticked just about everything on the preferences tab but they just keep on coming

 

Same here, but fortunately they all go to my spam folder so don’t notice them.

 

You have to do it on one of the e-mail alerts you get. It was doing my head in yesterday.
When you get an e-mail click on disable all e-mails

Go to your own email and right click on one of there email then block senders
