O or terry gets a big bonus for top third. A bonus for middle third. And no bonus for bottom third. And the sack for relegation I would imagine all managers have bonuses in their contract as do players There’s a reason clubs are already skint by the time they start in the premier league.
Not a mural that you would ever see on the Falls Road!!!! Interesting and good to to see that Cliff Byrne, McCann's right hand man, is from "Mexico" as many a Norn Iron fan would have referred to south of the border citizens in times gone by. .
I wonder how genuine info like this really is. Obviously daft lad and his dad should know about the 'incentive'. One or two club staff. On the other side obviously Grant McCann will. His agent/representative and Cliff Byrne maybe. Families. But within 2 days someone has been on to this Alan Nixon who has blabbed to the world. Loose tongues sink ships, or is that football clubs?
I read the interview with him and I like his football philosophy. The trouble is it's the same as Slutskys so the fans will never accept it if we keep losing whilst putting up a fight, like they didnt with Sluts. I hope he gets a full season to bed in. Better to play football and coach the players you have then rely on the big names left over from the previous manager, if he even gets that privilege. Fingers crossed for him.
I have absolutely no idea what I meant by "And so it begins". Ignore me, my mind races off in many different directions all at once sometimes
I don't know why but the Simpsons episode where honest goes into a daydream with the circus tune playing in his mind just popped into my head ... Haha
I know the big one you refer to (on the Whiterock Road), reproduced here: please log in to view this image As for the smaller one, can't help you with that. (Btw, the above mural is promoted by the Belfast Celtic Society, set up to commemorate a great former club, now defunct. The people behind it promote "Don Patricio" as "The Man Who Saved Barcelona", but while he was certainly a major figure in the club eg manager in the difficult 1930's etc, having visited the Barcelona Museum at the Camp Nou myself, I fear there is a little bit of 'artistic licence' there!)
I kinda imagined Kempton sat there in Mr Burns pose, tapping the ends of his long, bony fingers together whilst muttering "And so it begins" in a low evil voice. Then shouting "Smithers!" and wondering why nobody comes.
Is that the HDM Paddy is reading? He's a former Perth St resident Not commemorated at all in this city (yet) please log in to view this image "The celebration continued closer to home. Patrick O’Connell’s first full-time professional club was Belfast Celtic. To commemorate this, a mural was unveiled just off the Falls Road in Belfast. The mural is the first of a planned series: Belfast, Dublin, Manchester, Santander, Seville and Barcelona, all cities where Patrick O’Connell had either played or managed." Missing the city where he played more games than any other. Can you guess where it is yet?
That someone being Alan Nixon who has proven to be by far the most accurate and informed of the journalists who post Hull City information in the last few years.
