    Man U x LVG(Southampton + Bilbao)
______________________________ = 1st - 7th = 6. 6 being the number of defenders fielded so Man U must win the league this year!

    (Vidic+Evra+Rio) (Whitepelexy2)

    The maths never lies.

Man Utd don't have 6 fieldable defenders yet though, hence LVG's conversion of Fletcher to CB and Young to RB

I hate sleeveless shirts on men... I guess living in the US South it just looks like "redneck wear" to me. Only effeminate men and rednecks wear sleeveless! I doubt Lovren is either of the above...

Not whilst injured... and Lallana is probably going to be in the middle of the park whilst Markymarkovic is played as an attacking winger.

I think going into the start of this recently closed season many thought Agger COULD become our best defender. He was our best "ball-playing" defender. Clearly he has been outshone by Skrtel the last year (probably two) - and before then it was Carragher.
Agger has always been the "nearly-good" defender... always just something missing- but he's always looked like he had potential to step up and become something more.

I'd miss Agger if he went. He's been a good defender at times for us- and certainly loyal to the club. May be time he left though, although he still makes a good backup.

Lambert wasn't overpriced... Lallana and Lovren probably were. If they're a huge hit we will quickly forget about the cost though.
If they flop- it will be a big embarrassment. I think Rodgers is going for the "sure-thing" he thinks that they will fit the team quickly after Soton played a similar style to us.

They're good players- if a little unambitious... we'll see... 3 months from now... 6 months from now... etc... have an ever clearer picture of whether they were worth it.

I probably would have preferred the money been spent elsewhere... for now I'll trust Rodgers.

Absolutely... If I were Saints I'd be pissed.

Blaming us is probably wrong though- it's their management that deserves the anger... they're allowing players to leave. They better invest that money back wisely!

I've decided Lovren is worth any money that is spent:

Any friend of Igor Biscan is good for me!

  7. I'm currently wearing a sleeveless shirt, majority of my shirts are sleeveless too. Can't wear shorts with a long sleeve shirt and I wear shorts to work in weather like this so long as I've not got a meeting where I need to look professional lol

Edit; I'm talking about actual shirts but suspect you meant general tops now

Darren Huckerby used to wear it for Norwich and he played upfront.

    Gyan wears number 3...

Although I do agree, 6 and 5 at CB, 4 at DCM, 3 and 2 at full backs. 7 and 11 on the wings. 8 for CM, 9 and 10 for the CF's.

I said SLEEVELESS! As in no sleeves at all!

I have no problem with short sleeve shirts... that's what I wear. It's the kind without any sleeves at all that look either effeminate or rednecky to me.

They have their place I some situations. When training its not too bad, also means you don't end up with stupid tan lines half way up your arms.

I don't tend to wear them myself, but when doing sport it's understandable. Certainly wouldn't wear them out in town or anything though

That he'll have a different number?

Also means that Agger hasn't lost his number yet.
