I liked what he said in his interview when asked about other clubs interested in buying him, he said' If i'm wasn't in tottenhams plans then I just want to play here for Hull'
It looks like we're spending some serious money(for us). £8m for Jake, £4m for Dawson and £6m for Snodgrass.
Paying over the odds on the Livermore & Snodgrass deals in my book. Think we've had our pants pulled down.
Won't need season decide if they were worth the money or not. £8m for 38+ games and lots of goals chipped in from midfield
The more I think about the Livermore signing, there is a hidden value in terms of retaining a known midfield. He works well within our current midfield setup. So it's a good deal regardless. I will be concerned if we pay a similar amount for Snodgrass.
Hopefully though, with the addition of snodgrass we have a Premier League stable team for the next few years. Then we only need to improve perhaps one position a year with a marquee signing and we'll not have to spend big to retain premier league status next year or the year after, letting us pick and choose our targets rather than rushing to get our positions filled. Needless to say we'll still be in everybodies relegation predictions
