Well, being a native East African (who hasn't even never been to northern east of England) I can't explain why I am a die hard fan of Newcastle United. It hurt me so much when you left for Liverpool. I pray your injuries are well and truly behind you, something in me tells me that you will eventually refind your prowess and do your home town club proud.

I honestly think this transfer will be good for us. If we can get him fit and we play quite direct football he will cause havoc for all these ticky tacky football teams.

Everyone is trying to play the Man City way at present and if we play a more direct approach it might just catch a few teams of guard!!1

If he is fit, he will give us a nice option to change games 70 minutes or so in. After 70 minutes of defending against a Miggy, Joel & St M attack, suddenly you have Andy Carrol battering you about and Gayle scampering past.

I'm struggling to see how we won't be best of the rest to be honest. I think the scouts should start working on some European football specialists so we are well prepared for the Europa in 2020/21
