Really pleased for Livermore as well. Always great to see a youth / academy player get a run in the 1st team and perform admirably. No doubt, playing alongside Modric, Bale and Lennon makes him raise his game and make his job that little bit tougher, but he is definitely one we can be using as a squad player, if not this season, then surely next season when Spurs will (hopefully) be contesting 4 competitions. Parker will only be solid for 2 or 3 more seasons as, whilst his work rate will most probably never decline, his body won't be able to take that level of intensity anymore and so Jake + Sandro will be a great defensive midfield pairing when its required.
Speaking of our youth / academy players, I hope Townsend and Caulker perform very well for their respective clubs for the duration of the season. Nice to see Townsend set up the Leeds winner (sort of).
