I suppose this means Goodnight Vienna to David Luiz, who I understand is causing a scrap between Man City and Barca over a £30m signing! I liked David --he was a character!
 
Welcome Azpilicueta. Moses and Azpi are great signings. Now that's two of our targets completed. Will we make one more big name signing before the window closes?

I think that will be us done for this window, certainly in terms of buying anyway.

Think we'll try move on likes of Benayoun, Malouda, Kakuta, Merieles (maybe) and, though it saddens me to say it, Essien.

Reckon we've got a good squad now. Only concern is up front, it all seems to depend on whether Torres can finally start producing his form of old.

Though RDM hasn't actually said it, I think he has Moses in mind as cover.

However, I wouldn't be too surprised if we emulate Spain's 4-6-0 formation for some games.

Jesus I hope not, he and Cahill are the future with JT as mentor and back up. Surely we are not stupid enough to weaken the back 4?? In fact I think we could do with another CD, unless Ivan is pencilled in there. JT and either Luiz or Cahill don't look as solid as Luiz and Cahill together.

CP-- The Brit press today have in the sports sections been totting up our spending with both todays signings included! The Sun is preaching that MC are offering £30m for him, while the Times are saying that Barca are offering the same! CFC have simply responded with a "no comment"!

Yeah I read some of that last night.Fortunately today RDM has told them both to piss off and keep their $30mill.
Knowing Barca, they'll now move into "unsettle" mode, so maybe we should do likewise and start a rumour about a "swap" deal involving Messi !!!! Give them some of their own medicine .
